Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Darul Falah (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects the privacy of every student, parent and visitor. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
1. Information we collect
- Account info — your name, email, phone number, and the courses you are enrolled in.
- Sign-in data — when you continue with Google, we receive your Google email, name and profile picture.
- Learning activity — which lectures you have watched and your progress, used only to power your dashboard.
- Communications — messages and announcements sent to you by your teacher or admin.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used solely to deliver the service: to give you access to the right courses, schedule live classes, send you updates, and let your teacher track your progress. We never sell your data to third parties.
3. Data storage & security
Data is stored on secure servers protected by industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Only you, your assigned teacher and authorised admins can see your personal data and progress.
4. Children
Many of our students are children. Their accounts are created and managed by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for the information shared with us. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child without parental consent.
5. Your rights
You may request to view, correct or delete your personal data at any time by emailing us. On request, we will permanently remove your account and all associated learning records within 30 days.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
7. Contact
For privacy-related queries, please reach us through the Contact page — we usually respond within a few hours.
